Develop highly employable skills as you build data science projects modelled after real-life business cases in an instructor-led workshop session. We look at multiple application-cases of R at work: data wrangling, visual narrative and interactive visualization, data modeling, regressions and statistical inference.
Example-by-example, we explore the statistical ideas behind “intelligent” features we use and love everyday: automatic text completion, predictive algorithms, spam filters etc. Students who like to follow along the code exercises presented in the workshop can ask for the course materials before-hand. You may follow the code exercise and experience data science at work in the 2-hour session.
